The imprint Claritas (managing editor dr. Bojan Žalec) focuses on humanistic and social works of national and international authors. The basic intention of the imprint is contained already in its name: to further critical clarification of European cultural heritage and history by publishing essential works on the subject. In this process Claritas focuses on the works from the field of realistic philosophy, those from the field of profound psychology examining the culture of the modern society and deriving from the respect of man as a unique, dignified and free being and from the observation of principles of democratic culture, on history works examining European history and the history of Slovenian politics and state. An important part of the mission of Claritas is to encourage humanistic creativity of younger Slovenian authors by publishing their works.
